Would Some Ice Cream Help Ease The Pain After Getting A Tattoo?

Tattoos are at least a little bit painful no matter where you get them. Have tattoos inked on certain parts of your body, and you may have to grit your teeth just a little. In all seriousness, it’s not so bad. Would ice cream help take away the pain? You’ve got this, but hey, just the thought of going to get ice cream after having a tattoo done puts a smile on my face. What about you?

Do you already have any tattoos? If you do, then you know what to expect as far as the pain factor. Every experience can be a little different of course, but you would have a general idea. I have two tattoos, one on my back and one on my chest. I had someone really close to me by my side when I got my tattoos done, and that made the experience special. It was something we shared together after she lost her son, and tattoos are a big interest of hers. I cherish those moments because those tattoos meant something to me.

I was really close to her son, too. Let me tell you that the emotions wrapped up in that time in my life make it difficult to remember if the tattoos were even painful. I think about how that time was special and how it relates emotionally to the idea of having ice cream after you get a tattoo, for a completely different reason. Did we need ice cream? Oh no, we all had each other, and that was what was important. It seems silly to throw ice cream into a moment like that, but sometimes sharing the little things can also put a smile on your face.

Ice cream is one of those little things that I like. I used to like getting ice cream as a kid. My mom used to love eating ice cream, and still would if she ate sweets. I used to take one of my family members to Stax Ice Cream to get a dip cone all the time. I enjoy going to ice cream shops in the tourist city in which I live. Ice cream is a special treat, and it is simple, uncomplicated and nothing but cheerful.

If we could only eat ice cream all day long. In all seriousness, life is sweet, but sometimes you need a sweet treat. Perhaps that time might be after you’ve felt some minor pains when getting a tattoo. You might not be able to eat the ice cream while you are getting the tattoo inked on your body, but you can certainly enjoy it afterward.

The tattoo will take awhile, but guess what, it’s going to look great. Mine look great years later, and I can’t believe it’s been 7 years, almost 8. Those tattoos mean something to me. They are permanent reminders that I lost someone I will never, ever forget. I feel like having some ice cream after having reflected on those precious memories, but I will have to settle for the rest of my S’mores in a cup iced coffee with whipped cream. Hey, that will do!
